Welcome to Tulips in Motion, a shared space where stories, places and people come together.
We are two travelers with roots in Afghanistan and the Netherlands. While our cultures, languages and landscapes are different, we found a shared rhythm in movement, in curiosity, in wandering and in capturing the beauty of everyday life.

Our name carries the essence of who we are. The tulip, elegant and bold, grows wild in the Afghan highlands and colors the Dutch countryside each spring. It is one of the few flowers that represent both of our home countries. A symbol of where we come from and how something beautiful can thrive in very different places.

Tulips in Motion is our way of telling stories. Not only about destinations, but also about transitions and transformation. We travel, yes. But we also listen, observe and reflect. Sometimes it is a vibrant street market in the Middle East. Sometimes it is the silence of a train ride through the Alps. And sometimes it is a spontaneous conversation, a local recipe or a quiet moment watching the world go by.
